Company

The company behind the agents.

An Australian AI company building a small number of products to a high bar — each one taking over a real operational job that businesses can no longer staff around the clock.

Our story

Why we exist.

Tekvoca was founded in Melbourne in 2025 on an unglamorous observation: the AI that impresses in a demo and the AI that survives a Monday morning are not the same product. One holds a conversation. The other has to put the right patient in the right slot in the practice-management system, at 2am, in the caller’s language, and be right every time.

So we made a deliberately narrow bet. Rather than another horizontal assistant that leaves the hard part — integration, escalation, compliance, uptime — to the customer, we build agents that take over one complete operational job and answer for the outcome. Each product goes into a market we understand, wires into the systems that market already runs on, and is hosted in Australia under our AI Ethics Charter.

That is the portfolio today: VotreV on the front desk of allied-health clinics, Auresta Secure watching Microsoft 365 estates against the Essential 8, StayOS running reservations and guest service for independent stays, Dana, a managed Australian-hosted gateway to the models themselves, and Lifee carrying the same standard into consumer digital finance. Five products, one bar — Australian-hosted, human-supervised, and built to run in production rather than to demo well.

The thesis

Why now.

01

AI crossed the reliability line

For a decade conversational AI was a demo technology — impressive on stage, brittle on a real phone line. That changed. Models that hold instructions under pressure, tool-calling that actually writes back to a booking system, and sub-second voice moved the question from “can it talk” to “can it be trusted with the job”. We build for the second question.

02

Real businesses are understaffed

A clinic cannot justify a receptionist at 8pm. A thirty-room property cannot staff a night desk. A mid-sized business cannot put an analyst on alerts at 3am. The work does not stop after hours — the staffing does, and calls go unanswered, incidents sit unread and revenue leaks out through the gap. That gap is where our agents go to work.

03

Sovereignty is non-negotiable in AU

Health records, guest data and security telemetry cannot be quietly routed offshore to whichever model is cheapest this quarter. Australian operators answer to the Privacy Act, the Australian Privacy Principles, state health-records law and — increasingly — Essential 8 expectations from the people who buy from them. Australian-hosted and compliant from day one is not a constraint here; it is why we get a seat at the table.

What we hold to

Our standard.

Production over demos

Every product has to survive 2am, not just a sales call. We ship to a reliability bar, then keep it there.

Sovereign by default

Australian-hosted, Privacy-Act-compliant, data never routed offshore — built in, not bolted on.

Human oversight, always

Agents do the administration; people keep the judgment. Escalation to a human is always one step away.

One standard, every product

A small portfolio built to the same high bar for responsibility, sovereignty and reliability.

Who is behind it

Not first-time operators.

01

Former telco principal

Carrier-grade voice and messaging — the discipline of systems that have to survive a real phone network, not a demo.

02

University professor

Research rigour and responsible-AI governance, applied to agents that operate on real records.

03

Third-generation cattle farmer

Regional Australian business first-hand — where the work does not stop and the staff simply are not there to hire.

04

Seasoned property developer

Property and hospitality operations from the owner’s side, including what running a site actually costs.

We are holding names back for now — each will attach their own when they are ready. The backgrounds are the point: telephony that has to survive a real network, research discipline, and first-hand experience of the regional, clinical and property businesses these agents go to work for.
